We order from here regularly and tonight was disappointing. Fish was dry and like it had been in far too long. White pudding batter was like dough had not crisped up at all. Not usual standard expected

I'm actually based in London. I order online for my Mum. First of all I wasn't to thank the delivery person for their patience in waiting for my Mum to get to the door. She's in her nineties and is not so fast on her feet these days!. I've ordered food for her from your shop a few times recently and it is always a great standard . She really enjoys these treats. So thank you for your prompt service and quality produce.

Food always on time fresh hot and tasty

Bit disappointing. Food was barely warm when it arrived so had to reheat. Annoying because our orders have always been decent in the past. Will take a break for a wee while. I get the delivery fee and carrier bag fee, but what is the 0.50p service fee?

You should consider the environment and ensure a 'check box' to opt out of having a carrier bag. Also forcing someone to pay a further 10p for it, when they don't need or want it. I ordered my food but on collection in store, I was asked to pay the full amount including 10p charge for bag, when I specified in the comments box 'no bag required'. I gave my name, and my order was handed over with the comment 'no bag' but the cost included it, I challenged the cost and the staff member checked the till...same cost given...until I explained that no bag means you should reduce the cost by 10p. I said there really should be an opt out online, or no charge online and charge 10p at the till if necessary.

Food arrived cold and took nearly 2 hrs to be delivered. Won't use again

Home delivery. Arrived quicker than expected. All good.

This as a family is our favourite Fish and chip shop, the quality and serving of portions is always really good. What I would say is we opted for a smoked sausage for a change and this was a really small portion to which my husband was disappointed, however it wont stop us from going back however as could have been a one off.
